2001 Offseason Review
Last Updated: Thursday, March 15th, 2001
Redrum Loses Another Key Player

Scott Quesinberry (above) will be missed in 2001.
Offseason Review: Redrum started off the 2000 season with a blistering 9-0 record, losing their first game of the year to MC Customs by a tally of 11-6 in last game of the Spring II League. Redrum had a disappointing showing in the City Playoffs getting hammered by Coffer Sports 16-1. The team finished the year with a respectable 23-8 record, but fell well short of last year's projections. The team looks to bounce back from last year's performance in 2001.

A key player from the nucleus of the team was lost in the offseason. Scott Quesinberry moved to Austin, Texas to further his education at the University of Texas. Quesinberry filled in the hole left by Ross Cannizaro at shortstop. Quesinberry also added a consistent bat & speed on the base paths. Redrum will be forced once again to shore up their defense up the middle.

The team hopes that newcomers Billy Adams & Chris Brown will add some stability to the defense. Steve Bradford rejoins the team for a full season. Bradford should add some offensive punch to the line-up. Matthew Jackson, Paul Sutera & Greg Leonard also return for their sophomore seasons. All three players will be decisive forces in improving on the 2000 season.

Preview:Despite losing another starter from last year's squad, Redrum looks poised to have another successful campaign in the 2001 season.
