2000 Season
Ben Lopez took the 2000 season off to tend to his family & pursue his education.


Hitting
Lopez brings a good combination of consistency & power. As noted by his contributions in the 1999 campaign, he is ideally suited for the #3, #4 or #5 slots in the order. Although not one of the biggest players on the team, Lopez can hit the long ball with the best of them.


Baserunning & Defense
Lopez has a good arm & can cover a lot of ground in the outfield. He will help solidify a young & improving outfield for Redrum. Lopez has above average speed on the base paths.


2001 Outlook
With Lopez back into the fold, Redrum will be a much improved team both offensively & defensively. The team will look to him to provide consistency & power in the middle of the lineup as well as solidifying the defense in the outfield.
