Hitting
Jackson is a proto-typical singles hitter who has illusions of power but occasionally can stretch those singles into doubles and doubles into triples. With the wind blowing out, he might surprise a few teammates with his opposite field power.


Baserunning & Defense
With good speed on the base paths and in the field, Jackson provides consistency at the plate and a strong glove in the field. He can play many positions, but is best suited for right center where his above-average range allows his fellow outfielders to take more aggressive defensive positioning. Whether he's on the bases or in the field, Jackson is a consummate competitor, who runs out every grounder and hits the cut-off man.


2002 Outlook
As a 3 year veteran with the team, Jackson will provide some leadership on the field. He looks to improve his RBI totals while maintaining his high on base percentage and run production.
