Strike Zone Table
SwingAway - Get Good Gazette, Volume 2 Issue 10

Study the STRIKE ZONE TABLE in order to know which is the BEST pitch to hit. The SwingAway philosophy is to “Get a Good Pitch to Hit” and you must know which pitch is GOOD!

STRIKE ZONE TABLE

The BEST percentage pitch to hit is in the “0” space.
The LEAST percentage pitch to hit is in the “2” space.

“A Good Pitch To Hit” Situations:

When batting with no strikes you want to hit your pitch. You need to be fussy about what you swing at. With 0 strikes, focus on your pitch - which for most is a fastball down the middle. Use the chart below to understand the size of your strike zone for different counts.

The "0" area represents when you have no strikes on you. The "1" area represents when you have one strike on you. In this situation you should look preferably for a fastball. The "2" area represents when you have two strikes on you. You must look for any pitch within the strike zone. Try to put the ball in play and avoid getting a 3rd strike called on you.

RULE: The closer you are to the strike zone “0” the closer you are to perfection!
