See It, Hit It! SwingAway - Get Good Gazette, Volume 2 Issue 20
To strengthen your visual acuity and narrow your focus, use a broomstick, focus bat (SwingAway), or one-and-a-half inch dowel to hit plastic golf balls. DRILL: Have someone feed you the balls (from 10 feet or so) just off your front knee. Hit the ball with your chosen “bat” driving it into a net or on to the field. Swing, in control, to ensure contact. Concentrate on hitting the ball on the “sweetspot.” Keep good balance, weight shift, hand action, and follow through. Repeat each day 20-25 repetitions and follow same drill with your game bat. Stay focused on the ball hitting the bat.
In order to learn how to hit, you MUST hit...repetitions!!!
