Keep An Eye On The Ball & Concentrate Your eyes trigger the rest of your body into action. When someone yells "good eye, good eye" it is a compliment to your judgement. Keeping the head still and concentrating helps your eyes follow the ball. Essentially the more the head moves, the harder it is for your eyes to do their job. Keeping an eye on the ball also reminds you to stay alert to every play including one that may create a potential injury situation.
